Just a Review Of the past 5 months

Nursing
For the most part of my summer I was in the nursing program, taking classes and participating in clinical from June to about the end of July. After much deliberation and tears...I decided to call it quits and left the nursing program. Not because I couldn't do it, but because I didn't feel like it was for me anymore. Looking back on my time there I realize how unhappy I was and how crazy/stressful my life had become. It is almost like a bad dream now. However, there were opportunities during my time in the program that made me grow in confidence and knowledge. My classmates, clients and teachers have all made me realize that I am a very strong, capable and kind woman, who just needs to have a little more confidence in herself. I will always be thankful for the time I spent there.

Good Bye University Nursing Program!

Caught a Few Concerts

During the Deschutes County week, Cheryl scored some concert tickets to Jake Owens and Lady Antebellum! We had VIP tickets to go see Jake Owens...yeah...we felt special! I had no idea who he was, which might have led me to think he was the guitar player...my bad. Actually I like the guitar player better anyway! The next night Cheryl, Jeff, Stephen, Tracy and I went to the Lady Antebellum concert. We didn't have VIP tickets, but that didn't stop us from having an absolutely awesome time! It's official...I love going to concert! Whooohooo!

Labor Day/Family Reunion

Family reunion had the best poopa's this year, if I may say so! The weekend was a blast, even though it rained most of the time. We had a 21st birthday mask ball and a great pirate carnival for the kids! However, getting ready for the reunion wasn't that much fun!! No, actually it was fine. Everybody says that shopping for 80 people for three days is awful, but I thought it was kinda fun!

Thatcher

So, Cheryl and I kinda picked up this little pit bull on the side of the road, while we were driving home to Redmond in September. He was all alone in the middle on nowhere. He liked it at my parents house...however, I can't say that my mom's dog Molly or her rooster Henry liked him so much...He wouldn't leave Molly alone and kinda Mauled Henry. He was a sweet dog though, obeyed pretty well and loved to play fetch. Unfortunately we couldn't keep him and had to take him to the dog shelter. The good news is that lately I checked the dog shelter adoption ads and he wasn't there. I hope he got a good home!

Halloween!

Halloween was fun this year. Cheryl and I went down to Redmond to celebrate Jeffrey's B-day. We went to the pumpkin patch the morning of Halloween to get a few pumpkins to carve. However, we spent a lot of time at the canon area that were shooting pumpkins at old cars. After that on the way home we got chicken and Jojos for lunch...yum! Later we carved pumpkins! They rocked! Later that night we went to go play bingo at the church carnival...oh yeah, bingo...that's right! And after that got over Cheryl and I went with Stephen and a few of his friends to the haunted corn maze...... yeah..... I don't think I'll be attending next year. They had evil CLOWNS!!!!

Oh, and now my hair a little bit blonde, I got it done the day before Halloween!!

Now

So, currently I am going to Mount Hood Community College to finish up my Associates of Transfer, working at Van Heusen, trying to figure out what to major in and where I want to go. I think I might take the next term off and figure everything out. But I'm trying to stay optimistic and hopeful!
